Why free WIFI?
Africa is the worlds most data-starved continent, and this brings barriers to what its people can accomplish. We believe that internet access should be a basic human right.
How does someone use Leep Connect?
Users simply need to open their phones’ WIFI settings and connect to Leep’s many WIFI hotspots. Once connected, they will interact with curated content and then be authenticated on the network, at which point they will receive a free data bundle for consumption at their leisure.
Why mobile?
Public Transport commuters are the backbone of the economy. We want to provide them with the tools necessary to capitalize on largely wasted time on their daily commute.
How does it work?
Leep has built a customer engagement system onto the Leep Connect network. This allows us to push targeted content to users at specific points in the user journey, which is subsidized through third parties.
Do you have plans to extend?
We have plans to extend Leep Connect into more vehicles, and beyond the transport industry.
